Description

Circa 1871. On a tree-lined street on the fashionable Upper East Side, this classic Brownstone offers stylishly elegant accommodations. Old World charm is evident in the decorative ironwork covering the front door, ornate moldings around windows, high ceilings and floors, and ornate marble and wood fireplace mantelpieces. The Cottage was a turn-of-the-century carriage house. Beds of antique iron and brass, a sleigh bed with netting, a Tuscan cottage bed and a cherry sheaf of wheat bed grace the guest bedrooms decorated with lace curtains and country quilts. A pleasant cedar terrace has colorful potted plants, teak furniture and a cafe table and chair set.
